Graciela is the Senior Human Resources Executive at Deckers Outdoor Corporation, and brings a global sensibility, boundless creativity, and a love of live music to the team.

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Graciela still remembers her first excursion into theatre, as well as dancing on the Lobero stage as a child. She attended college in San Diego and continued on to establish her career in Los Angeles. What came next was a series of moves to Boston, Miami, Latin America, and the Middle East. After years of globetrotting, Graciela has returned to Santa Barbara and has been working with Deckers Outdoor Corporation for four years.

“From a professional standpoint, I feel my purpose is to help people realize their potential through their passions and environments. Companies, similar to cultural venues in particular, can inspire creativity and innovation, and this is a core value in how I approach my work.” She and her husband, David McKeever, are also involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara.

Graciela remembers a standout evening at the Lobero recently at a Sings Like Hell presentation of Del Castillo. “People at the Lobero get up, they get into it, and they have fun! That’s what I love about this special place. I think the Lobero really lends itself to that connection because it’s so intimate.”

Doug Wood continues on as President of the Lobero Theatre Foundation Board of Directors. Serving with Doug will be Amy Gresh (Vice President), Jeff DeVine (Secretary), William J. Nasif (Treasurer), George Burtness (Past President), Tim Casey and Melissa Fassett (At Large).

The mission of the Lobero Theatre Foundation is to maintain and operate the historic Lobero Theatre as a performing arts center and cultural asset to the community of Santa Barbara, and to present the highest quality productions in music, dance, and theatre. Today, the Lobero Theatre Foundation continues to raise funds for the benefit of the theatre, and has expanded its mission to support Youth and Community Programs, Lobero LIVE presentations including the prestigious Jazz at the Lobero series, and providing $50,000 in production subsidies to the local performing arts organizations who perform on the Lobero stage, including State Street Ballet, Opera Santa Barbara, Flamenco Arts Festival, Music Academy of the West and many more.

Although the Lobero Theatre Foundation serves as owner and steward of this landmark institution and one of DownBeat Magazine’s Best Jazz Venues worldwide, it the Lobero donor and ticket buyers who serve as the true “foundation” of this great organization. The community built the theatre to be its stage and its cultural heart, and the Lobero Theatre Foundation is dedicated to honoring that tradition.
