The Honey Bee
Riffing on comments about bees disappearing and the fate they foretell at which few are peering.
The honeybee –
Symphony of
Lively nectar,
Protector, di-
rector of Earth,
Giving birth to
No dearth of fruits,
In cahoots with
The roots and stems,
Calmly hems life’s
Best gems. Tasting
The basting on,
Pasting on plants,
That by chance may
Entrance their souls,
Leaving holes in
Their whole process.
Sins caress slowly,
Duress swallows
And hollows the
Hallowed honeybee.
