Make a Date for Lunch at Wine Cask and Help Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara!
This September, as kids head back to school, Wine Cask is helping raise funds to support local school girls involved in Girls Incorporated of Greater Santa Barbara. Through their Charity Lunch Promotion, Wine Cask will donate 10% of guests’ checks when they mention this great local nonprofit organization. In our community since 1955, Girls Inc. is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through educational initiatives, research-based programs, activities and advocacy. To support Girls Inc. and the 1200 girls they serve annually in Santa Barbara County, guests simply need to come in for lunch and mention Girls Inc. to a server.
Girls Incorporated of Greater Santa Barbara has several great initiatives and programs this September. On September 22nd, She is Beautiful is hosting a “pink” 5k and 10k run that will donate funds to Girls Inc. Runners can sign up for this fun and empowering race benefiting Girls Inc. at the She is Beautiful website. Other local programs Girls Inc. will be offering to young women this fall include Pets & Vets, which encourages girls to explore careers in professions involving animals, and Earth Action, which helps girls learn about the environment and how to make a difference. Wine Cask is happy to partner with Girls Inc. and support these important initiatives.
