Young female scientists-to-be in grades 6-9 will have a chance to explore future careers in science and technology at Tech Savvy 2015, a one-day conference at UCSB on Sunday, February 15. The conference will host up to 150 students and 50 adults for a day of hands-on learning experiences and workshops in STEM-related fields. Funded by a grant of the American Associate of University Women, Tech Savvy facilitators will also provide tips on female empowerment and leadership roles. Interested participants can register until Wednesday, February 11, through the AAUW’s website.
