A construction worker walks down a freshly paved section of Concrete Pavers on Castillo Street.

Starting next week, the southbound Highway 101 on- and off-ramps at Castillo Street will face various closures due to concrete paving work.

From 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8 to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, the southbound Highway 101 on-ramp at Castillo Street will be closed. Also beginning Wednesday at 9 p.m., the southbound Highway 101 off-ramp at Castillo Street will close for four weeks, meaning drivers headed west on Castillo won’t be able to turn left onto southbound Highway 101.

The $873,000 Castillo Street Paver Project, which will create a smooth driving surface for vehicles and bicycles, is expected to be completed this September.
