Craigslist Class at Goleta Library

For those wishing to shed old belongings, the Santa Barbara Public Library will offer a free class on how to sell items on Craigslist. From 10-11 a.m., Monday, February 29, the Goleta branch will open its doors to the first 40 attendees, who will learn to post effective “for sale” ads on the website. The lecture-style class will teach participants how to categorize each listing, write its description, and add photos, as well as respond to prospective buyers’ response messages, said the library’s press release. Participants who wish to follow the class’s online demonstration are encouraged to bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
