City Zoning Workshops Continue

The city continues its Zoning Ordinance workshops, with the third to take place Friday, March 18. This second meeting in the series plans to look at sizes of residential studios, nonconforming uses, encroachments into setbacks, and outdoor living space requirements. Base zone development standards, overlay zones, and citywide development standards will also be discussed. (Off-street parking is scheduled for a subsequent meeting.) The documents are available here, and include topics that have come up during the previous workshop, including food trucks and seafood processing areas.

The documents will be available for review during an open house on the 18th from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: David Gebhard Meeting Room, 630 Garden Street. Planners and consultants will be on hand for questions. The Planning Commission meeting begins at 1 p.m.
