Howerton for Hartmann

Over the years I have spent hundreds of hours at city and county planning commission meetings. I have seen some remarkable commissioners and some mediocre ones. The one person who stands out in my mind is Joan Hartmann, former 3rd District Planning Commissioner and candidate for 3rd District Supervisor.

Her style was to listen to all the speakers; ask pertinent questions when appropriate, and, after considering all the information, make a reasoned decision. I think it is important to have a supervisor who doesn’t shoot from the hip but instead does her homework on each and every issue and impartially analyzes the facts. I look forward to having such a fair and thoughtful person on our Board of Supervisors. I encourage all my 3rd District friends to vote for Joan Hartmann. You won’t be disappointed.
