IV Noise Ordinance Tweaked

Isla Vista will be more carefully scrutinized during Halloween this year, as the county Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 to modify the existing noise ordinance. The ordinance makes it easier for a party to be shut down but decriminalizes many actions. Although the tougher noise and nuisance standards will be in effect all year, the primary focus of the change is Halloween weekend.
