The famed sign of the now-closed Jimmy’s Oriental Gardens was reported missing on 4/30. The building’s current owner – the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation – alerted police but shortly afterward learned the sign had been stashed by a neighborhood resident for safekeeping.
