The Santa Barbara Zoo announced on 2/25 that a $150,000 grant from the Los Angeles-based Weingart Foundation had brought fundraising efforts over the $1 million mark. A statement from the zoo said that the grant will help fund education programs and scholarships for children from low-income families to attend Zoo Camp.
