Deputy District Attorney Mary Barron has filed her opposition to attorney Bob Sanger’s motion for a retrial on behalf of Eric Frimpong, who was found guilty in December of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old UCSB student. In her papers, Barron claims Sanger fails to meet any of the nine criteria for a retrial and provides declarations from jury members who refute a another juror’s claims that the case was not deliberated for long enough.
