Sound description: With emotive, sultry female vocals, multiple layers of guitar tones and textures, and warm enveloping organs, ThreadSpinner's music bears resemblance to a haunting memory that is too distant to place, but too deep to ignore.
RIYL: The smell of an old novel, the taste of a thunderstorm, the sound of an old oak, the feel of an open space.

History
ThreadSpinner was conceived on an ordinarily windswept fall evening when a tall, quiet preacher's son laid eyes on a young, defiant girl in an old warehouse in Michigan. The connection between these unsuspecting souls held fast and steady as it threw them into each other's willing arms and tired hearts. Their stories now interlaced, they drove across cornfields, mountains, and deserts to settle in California and establish an altogether new life. Leaning fully on the words of her closest friends, this shy girl slowly began to allow her voice to step out on its newborn legs. A lifetime of fear had held it in until this time, and once this wild bird had been released, nothing could catch it.
In early 2007, after nine years of craving and dreaming, Jon and Sarah Ziebarth built the songs that would make up their debut album, The Firefly Lawnchair Parade. About a year later, with the album in their hands, they sought out a gifted rhythm section for live performances. Soon after they discovered drummer Casey Yorkunas and bass player Warren Crone. What these two artists bring to the live performances is beautiful and truly magnetic.
