SB Spectrum Athletic Clubs Team with Salvation Army for Gift Drive

(Those Who Donate Receive A 3-Day Guest Pass)

For a child, the holiday season can be the most magical and exciting time of the year, but what does this mean for children from low-income families, many of whom won’t find gifts under the tree this year? Spectrum Athletic Clubs is teaming with the Salvation Army to hold a gift drive benefiting needy children in the Santa Barbara community. Members and nonmembers may visit the lobbies of the Downtown, Goleta or Santa Barbara Uptown Spectrum locations to pick a gift tag from an “Angel Tree,” which contains the name of a child and their holiday wish. Gifts from the list can then be purchased and brought back to the club or the local Salvation Army (4849 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara). Nonmembers who donate to the gift drive will receive a 3-day guest pass to Spectrum valued at $75.

All gifts must be delivered to Spectrum or Salvation Army no later than Friday, December 14. For additional information visit spectrumclubs.com.

The Angel Tree gift drive is our way of making sure that all local children will get an opportunity to enjoy the holiday season,” said President and CEO Bud Rockhill. “All these little angels deserve to have their wishes come true.”
