We need to get the Tour of California to use Gib for part of next year's race here in SB. A mountain top finish would be epic, especially after a start in SLO.

Make it a stage for the ages!

Big Bill's sheriff's dept. is always in the red!

How about selling a few choppers?

What about all the botched calls in manning where they either get over run by students or allow over time to go to the Moon?

Live within your budget, Bill!

So, wells are failing in Montecito? Lordy, lordy!

Looks like the all the water hogging by the well healed is now coming back & starting to bite them in the A**. You, usually, get what you pay for. Hmmm

I wonder what the water haulers will start charging to truck in the tankers to keep the lush lawns & gardens green? Are any of the companies trading on the stock market? ;-)

"Pachon was trying to make amends by giving more than $300,000 from the proceeds of the sale of his house and more $70,000 from a retirement account back to Select Staffing."

It's always so predictable when the crooks get caught as they are suddenly remorseful & then usually start going to church.

Throw this paw dipping bastard in prison for a long time. Let that hopefully send other thieves a fleeting moment of pause before they snake money from others.

I say shut this proposal down ASAP otherwise at the next blink we'll see full-on fracking (Remember the pre-elecrtion hype - "We have no plans...") & the entire area will return to noxious odors 24-7, pollution from "accidents" & more.

Was there any community discussion on these sweeping pay raises?

That's pretty slick how the department heads also received handsome boosts to their monthly checks. Wowzers!

Bill Brown better darn well earn that huge salary by stepping up his department's game considering all the negatives the past 18 months. Yikes!

Lastly, I wonder if they ever pay for gasoline in their personal vehicle, even when traveling on the weekends & on vacations? Hah!

Right now the RNC has nobody even close to vetting for a Presidential run. If they keep up the infighting, let the Tea Party continue to jerk them around & keep swooning over their "hottie" Sarah P., the Dems will have no problems in the next Big One.

Wowzers! The folks in Carp are going to get fleeced compared to their extremely wealthy neighbors to the north if these bond (aka tax increases) are approved.

Carp = $47 per 100,000 in assessed valuation
Montecito= $12 per $100,000 in assessed valuation.

Regardless how this is painted, it's more taxes. Granted, the heavy hitters in Montecito can easily afford this, so why not a flip flop?

On Two School Districts Asking Voters for Money

I've been completely undecided until today on Measure P, but my decision has been made.

After receiving more mail than I could ever imaging to vote No, & getting at least two calls per day at all hours from "opinion groups" etc. & quickly finding out they represent the No on P group, I'm voting YES!

As the days draw closer to the election, I hear & read complete lies & scare tactics from the opposition. This is complete BS, in my opinion.

If I am to believe these people, the firefighters are going to stop saving us from fires while the police are going to be too short handed to protect us all from the evil that's coming.

Again - complete BS!

My advice: When you receive a call form the No on P lobby, tell them you are indeed voting no. Then you know what to do next - VOTE YES!
