intheknow - Thank you for your brilliance. Sometimes I read the comments and wonder exactly what these people think they know and why do they think they know it all. Such bright intellegent people with attitudes on opinion not knowledge. Point - a person of 150lbs can drink one ounce of alcohol within one hours time and POSSIBLY be under .08, as I remember it. Yes, my fellow peeps... you don't have to be drunk at all. One drink will do it. Do your homework as InTheKnow does, before you speak. Before you drive as well. Thanks! Be safe out there!

On Huge Increase in DUI Arrests

What are they doing? Too funny? I don't get it either. What's the deal with the credit card & badge? They've lost it. Seriously lost it. His brother must be cringing with embarrassment. If they had the money wouldn't they have paid? They posted bail, so they have some money, and why didn't they pay with the credit card pasted to her forehead? I'm not sure what the point is with these two. They went insane at the same time? Need the spotlight? Very strange. This is going to be interesting to watch... Poor Dennis!

I copied this out of the wiki encyclopedia. This won't go far I don't think. #6 is CHA CHING for Bjorkland. He isn't in this to make the fire department look bad but he's looking to fatten his bank account.

Did Bjorkland lose his house? How dare he start this nonsense. I'm all for saving animals, but this is rediculous. The fish are repopulating and the case should be tossed out as soon as it hits the courthouse! Bad Mr. Bjorkland! BAD! WHO saved YOUR house? I'm sure the guy sticks a fishing pole in that there crik and that's why he's got a bee in his britches! Steelhead Trout taste good Mr. Bjorkland? He doesn't really seem like a wildlife activist does he? He counts trout? He EATS the trout! Now people are going to be watching you Mr. Bjorkland... You pretty much screwed your future dinner plans... Unbelieveable! Some thanks for the fire fighters!

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Mr. Dixon. I'm so proud of him & it's so wonderful. What a fantastic accident! And what a wonderful person to "run with it." It brought a tear of joy! I can imagine the satisfaction he has at the end of the day! I think I might want to volunteer!!!

And for my Christmas Wish, Santa? I would really really like it if you could cure my dog's allergies. My dog & my whole family would appreciate it. I know, I know, that's a little difficult, but... please? ;-)

Happy Holiday's to everyone!!!! Be safe!

Proofreading... Got it. I'm unemployed... I'll take the job!

As for The Monster? I hope they drug him & rape him in there. I'd say an eye for an eye is pretty applicable in this case. I feel for those women... I've been there. He doesn't want help, he's working the system & manipulating the people, which is exactly what people like that do. He will do it again... IF the B$%#ard gets out.

He needs a bit of his own ... medicine! Then straight to hell.

On 23 Years for Sex Offender

These men weren't trying to start a fire. They were trying to help in a small way, but didn't think all the way through. Yes, I believe acknowledgement of their lack of thought is to be punished, but I think that has already been done. I do not believe that they were extremely irresponsible. Have any of you ever done something that MIGHT have IN RETROSPECT been disasterous? Has anyone ever drank 2 cocktails and driven in their life time? Has anyone evermade a mistake. True, this one has cost a tremendous amount of pain suffering and money. I feel for every single person, but accidents happen. We don't need to blame ... we're all guilty of something. Don't you think these men and their families have a difficult time living with this tragedy they have contributed to, by MISTAKES they made? Don't you think their lives are already extremely affected? And lastly, do you think that ruining their lives and their families lives and their financial future is going to help? Do you think they have any amount of money to help or cover even one of the houses lost? Their lawyers are getting all their extra cash I assure you. I guarantee... it's a useless outcome. Unless it's profitable or worth ruining two additional families and adding two more to this disaster. They should pay for stupidity and for the mistakes they made, but still... in the end... we're all still S O L and I for one don't want to add another to the list. Forgive and move on is where your energy is most wisely used at this time.

On Trail Gnomes Charged in Jesusita Fire

Calm down peeps. Just because someone lives in Montecito doesn't mean squat either way! It cracks me up when people say that. The homes here haven't always been a million plus. If the police are stating that there may be 3 cases, they aren't just saying that off a hunch. It's disgusting and horrid if it's true, but if it's not ... I imagine the poor man's life is ruined and he may have to move to Montecito Street or even down to Oxnard if he's got the money for a bus ticket. Either way... He's screwed.
