The City of Santa Barbara will expand parking for the Safe RV parking program to provide more options for those living in recreational vehicles. Previously, the only lot in which RV owners were allowed to camp overnight was the commuter lot at Carrillo and Castillo streets. The Carrillo lot will now allow for eight-rather than five-spaces, while the Cota commuter lot and a lot at Garden and Cabrillo will each host three spots on a one-year provisional basis.
