Lompoc Federal Penitentiary Goes On Lockdown
The Lompoc Federal Penitentiary’s medium-level facility has remained in lockdown following a fight between two groups of inmates on 2/22 in a housing unit holding almost 300 men. There were no serious injuries. The altercation stopped after 15 minutes, primarily because combatants lost their anonymity when staff arrived on the scene, said jail spokesman Jeff Brewer.
