• Hit the links Friday, May 9, at 12:30 p.m. at the Glen Annie Golf Club and help keep school libraries open! Hope School District Educational Foundation’s Third Annual Golf Classic ($550 for foursomes; $175 per individual player) includes greens fees, cart, goodie bag, dinner and awards ceremony, and helps libraries at Monte Vista, Hope, and Vieja Valley schools.

• National Fibromyalgia Day is May 12, and the S.B. support group is hosting neurologist and sleep specialist Dr. Victor Rosenfeld for a discussion about current diagnosis, testing, treatment, and theories, followed by a Q&A for families, friends, and patients.
