The Private Pablo
On Tuesday, October 7, Professor Alfred Moir, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s consulting curator of European drawings, will lecture on the life of Pablo Picasso in conjunction with the ongoing Picasso on Paper exhibition. The free talk takes place at 3 p.m. in the museum’s Mary Craig Auditorium (1130 State St.).
Bodies in Motion
Starting Tuesday, October 7, Real Live Movers Collective dancer Matthew Nelson will begin teaching a new, bi-weekly modern dance class at the Santa Barbara Ballet Center (1019 Chapala St. #B) from 9-10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Write Stuff
The Santa Barbara Writers Conference has announced it will be starting a new after-school creative writing program this fall at Santa Barbara, San Marcos, and Dos Pueblos high schools. Classes begin mid October and will last for six weeks. Visit sbwriters.com.
