The Children’s Miracle Network telethon-which aired on KEYT from 8 p.m. on 5/30 to 4 p.m. on 5/31-raised an estimated $525,000 in funds that will go to caring for sick infants and children at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The telethon included a student talent show that allowed viewers to text their votes for their favorite act; a band fronted by 12-year-old Brooke Wallace, a recent Cottage patient, took first place.
