Geck Appointed to S.B. Superior Court

Donna Geck, a longtime partner at law firm Hager & Dowling in Santa Barbara, has been chosen by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to serve as a judge in the Santa Barbara Superior Court. She has been with that firm since 1995. The addition of Geck means there will be a full complement of judicial officers in the South County when she begins in roughly three weeks, while there is still a vacant judicial position in North County. It remains to be seen whether Geck will serve in a criminal or civil court.
