Republican Bigwig in Court

Local construction manager and Republican heavyweight David Lack was in court on 10/18, facing three felony counts of grand theft with special allegations he stole in excess of $200,000. According to authorities, Lack allegedly took $300,000 from Mary Belle Snow—whose house has been host to some of Lack’s political events that featured nationally high-profile Republicans—as an investment in a new bank he was starting up. The money, however, disappeared and the start-up, to be called Smart Fed, never got off the ground. Neither Lack nor his attorney, Bob Sanger, had any comment.
