Santa Barbara- Deportation and harassment of immigrants is rapidly increasing in Santa Barbara County. PUEBLO and community allies have put together three informative events to create awareness and inform the community about the increasing collaboration between Immigration Custom Enforcement and our local law enforcement agencies and its impact on public safety.

The first event will be a forum where PUEBLO’s executive director, Belén Seara, will discuss how programs such as Secure Communities are unrealistic solutions to the issue of immigration and in reality only make matters worse.
