The front of Fast Frames a couple days after the accident
Tyler Hayden

An 83-year-old Santa Barbara man crashed his Honda SUV into Fast Frame’s storefront on 2/13. No one was injured. The man agreed to not drive the rest of the evening, and his car was towed back to his house. According to police reports, the man was trying to park but lost control, jumping the curb and running through the downtown store’s front window. Fast Frame, located at 1333 State Street, was open the next day after cleanup crews swept up the glass and tossed a few ruined paintings that had been on display.
