Three alleged gang members pleaded not guilty to attempted premeditated murder for a stabbing that took place on the Eastside on 3/30. Juan Maldonado and Richard Pineda, both 17 years old and being charged as adults, along with Robert Aldaz, entered not guilty pleas, while Juan Carlos Villa is charged with a similar crime but is still on the loose. The four are also facing an assault with a deadly weapon charge and a misdemeanor destroying evidence charge. Maldonado, Pineda, and Villa are facing a charge of street terrorism, and Aldaz is facing a misdemeanor charge of carrying a switchblade. The four, along with Richard Soto, also face a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. All except Villa are in jail on $1 million bail.
