Sessions last an hour – please arrive at least 10 minutes early to sign up

WHY: The Moving Wall, the original replica of the memorial in Washington,
D.C. honoring those who served and sacrificed in the Vietnam War, will be in Santa Barbara at Chase Palm Park for five days – from noon on Thursday, Sept. 29 through noon on Monday, October 2. Docents are sought to help visitors when they come to visit and reflect upon the memorial. First choice will go to members of the VVA, followed by all Veterans and filled out by the general public. Docents are committing to three-hour shifts, outdoors, with specific guidelines. PLS NOTE: All docents must attend one training session in order to be on the volunteer team.
