EDC Head to Retire

Environmental Defense Center chief David Landecker announced he’s retiring from the nonprofit law firm and will step down December 31. Involved with the EDC for more than 30 years, Landecker was first a pro bono attorney, then a member of the Board of Directors, before becoming its current executive director. The EDC employs four lawyers, two biologists, a planner, and a small administrative staff, and is seeking applications for a new executive director.
