Meet Wilbur, a handsome Dutch rabbit who has excellent jumping skills and is a perfect candidate for Bunny Olympics. He is just over one year old, very smart and full of energy. Wilbur is also very friendly and social, always wanting to know “what’s going on.” This little athlete needs a home where he can receive lots of love and attention and plenty of room to move.

B.U.N.S. Urgent Call for Help

Last week, B.U.N.S. took in 36 rabbits (of 91) from a breeder in Lompoc. The others were divided between the Santa Maria and Lompoc shelters. They were all treated for fleas, and some for mites, and there are a few that need further watching. The more urgent cases have been placed in foster.

B.U.N.S. is putting out a call for volunteers to help care for them at the shelter, and for monetary donations. They are spaying and neutering the bunnies as fast as they can, as well as paying for the medical care that some need. People can donate on our website via Paypal www.bunssb.org/donations.html or by mail. Donation checks can be sent to BUNS, P.O. Box 91452, Santa Barbara, CA 93190-1452. Any amount is greatly appreciated!
