Throwaway Soldiers and Sailors

Richie DeMaria’s “Homeless Count Data Released,” mentions that veterans are hit the hardest. This is a sad reminder of how servicemen and women routinely tend to be treated as cheap, disposable items. Anybody thinking of joining up should first think hard twice!
