Icy Reality

I greatly appreciate “Barking Dogs at the Golden Door” (August 15). Hateful racism indeed spews throughout our current politics from the national level downward. Latinos and other immigrants live in constant fear of ICE. I hope the Independent will focus more this reality as well as the Santa Barbara fun and games we all enjoy. Perhaps a few more Latino reporters covering their own communities would help.
