City of Santa Barbara transportation officials met with residents of the Hacienda neighborhood near Modoc Road on 7/30 to discuss creating resident-only parking on Greenwell Lane, a neighboring street that currently has unrestricted parking. The proposal, which will go before the City Council, includes Greenwell Lane in a permit program that Hacienda Drive residents pushed for more than a decade ago. Attendees said the plan would protect parking from non-residents.
