In recognition of the $1-million endowed fellowship that UCSB’s Bren School of Environmental Science and Management received from the Goleta-based Deckers Outdoor Corporation, the school has pledged that a 1,545-square foot patio at Bren Hall, and the fellowship itself, will forever bear the name of the company. Known for eco-friendliness, Deckers produces the Teva, UGG, and Simple footwear brands.
