Power Out at Sansum Clinic on Pesetas Lane

The power went out at the multi-specialty Sansum Clinic at 215 Pesetas Lane at around 10:30 a.m. this morning. According to two patients who called The Santa Barbara Independent, the clinic is canceling appointments as it works to restore power.

A receptionist at the Pesetas Lane location said issues with a nearby transformer may be the source of the problem. She said she wasn’t aware of a back-up power system.

Calls to Southern California Edison and Sansum administrators have not been immediately returned.
