A motorcyclist died on 9/13 after being hit by a vehicle that was performing an illegal maneuver on the UCSB campus at the entrance to Highway 217. Police say a 42-year-old woman was driving under the influence of alcohol when she hit the motorcyclist. The woman was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on manslaughter and DUI charges.
