After using UBER in LA so much, I was very excited to hear they came to SB. I've been using them a lot lately and I love it. I had a small gathering over the weekend & when we left for downtown, we got 4 different UBERs & it was as hassle free as possible. We were at our destination within 10 minutes of the requests.

I hopped in a non-Uber local cab for the first time in a while the other night and the first thing the guy said was CASH ONLY. So annoying. UBER dominates cab companies on every level. No reason why they shouldn't thrive in SB.

And don't listen to any surge price nonsense that's been going on lately. Customers can easily control that with the app. Just pay attention and you'll be fine.

I've had continued bad luck with local cab companies for years now. So glad UBER is in SB.

As a Milpas area resident, I must say that the recent improvements along Milpas Street have really made a difference. It's amazing how a few coats of paint and asphalt can make a world of difference in making an area look like it's been cleaned up and modernized. Nice work...

I've officially banned Rockstar from my Taxi options. On an off night (a Tuesday night), I had friends in town and we were meeting people downtown. We had already started drinking, so we called Rockstar to pick us up. Not only did they not bother showing up (we waited for 45 minutes), but the two different people we talked to didn't really seem to give a sh*t. The first person was totally incompetent and the second person was a complete a**hole. We were very polite and patient with them and were rewarded with attitude and sh*tty customer service.

Riviera Taxi is the best service in town. They are always there within 10 minutes and have excellent drivers/customer service.
