McCaw Seeks $25 Million from Roberts, Barney Brantingham

This morning, none other than the New York Times
decided that the News-Press story was worthy of its
coverage once again. See the story here. We can only hope that their
lawyers are preparing for some “dialogue” with Wendy McCaw’s legal
team.

And thanks to that article, our columnist Barney Brantingham was able to do some digging
of his own. He discovered that McCaw slapped former
editor Jerry Roberts with a $25 million claim in her amended
arbitration. That was just posted in Independent.com‘s On the Beat column a
few minutes ago. (Yea, we know Barney usually posts his midweek
On the Beat on Tuesdays, but this was too juicy to let
