Amgen Tour of California Begins
The third annual Amgen Tour of California bicycle race began on 2/21. Nearly 700 miles long, the eight-stage race runs through San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties. Stages five and six-on 2/25 and 2/26, respectively-of the race will be in Santa Barbara County, consisting of a 15-mile time trial in Solvang and a 105-mile stretch beginning in Santa Barbara and finishing in Santa Clarita.
