A chunk of bluff at Shoreline Park continues to sink toward the Pacific, carrying a piece of the sidewalk with it. Everything from rain to overfed ground squirrels have been blamed for the slide, but so far, all City Parks can do is put up new fencing to keep people from treading on the sunken area.
