Going to the Dogs
On Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., at 4516 Auhay Dr. (off Hollister Ave.), Mountain Spirit Animal Sanctuary is having its first fundraiser in the form of a massive rummage sale. Attendees can expect to find all sorts of treasures, from clothing to books to cookware to jewelry to furniture. There’s even a preview Friday, May 30, from 6-8 p.m. so you can stake out what you want and be prepared to pounce on the items on Saturday. Proceeds from the sale will go to the sanctuary, which takes in older animals as well as abused and abandoned ones, allowing them to live out their lives in peace.
