If the Lutheran in Garrison Keillor always made you feel a bit contrary to the Prairie Home Companion, Bedford Thompson Winery has the event for you. On Saturday, November 1, the winery will present the sixth annual WINO Radio Harvest Dinner Show in its courtyard in Los Alamos. Anything that begins with a wine reception is sure to nail down its bacchanalia. Written and presented by a professional troupe from Los Angeles (where the professionals come from, you know), the “radio” show, called Sip Happens, is an eclectic collection of talent from blue grass music to comedy skits to puppetry, and features Charlie O and The Bung Hole Stoppers (not as dirty as it sounds if you know your wine) and The Adventures of Pinot Noir, Wine Detective (a Keillor reference if you know your NPR), along with special guest Suzie Glaze and an appearance by Jack Pumpkin. All the fun follows a harvest dinner, so you’ll be well-fed, too. Reservations are necessary. For tickets or more information call the winery at 344-2107
