On the second Saturday of each month, join docents and fellow Santa Barbarans for an interpretive hike through the Sedgwick Reserve, a majestic property that was once owned by the influential Sedgwick family in the first half of the 20th century. Get up close and touch the Little Pine Fault, view wildflowers and beautiful trees, and see the traces and tracks of mountain lions, black bears, badgers, and other wild animals. The hikes are of moderate difficulty and last from two to three hours. Saturday, February 14, at 8:30 a.m. Free. Call 686-1941 for meet-up location in the Santa Ynez Valley or for more info.
