Rescue crews airlift a woman to safety after her car plunged 200 feet off Gibraltar Road.

Two people are recovering from injuries after their vehicle careened off the side of Gibraltar Road yesterday, five miles north of Mountain Drive, ultimately falling 200 feet. Both people were ejected. Emergency crews airlifted one passenger, a woman, to get further medical attention, while an ambulance drove the other passenger, a man, to the hospital after rescuers hoisted him back up to the road.

County Fire spokesperson Captain Dave Sadecki said investigators are still looking into what may have caused the accident
