Spirit of Uganda Brings Unique Blend of Rhythm, Dance, and Movement to Santa Barbara
The Granada Theatre (1214 State St.) will come to life this Friday, February 5, when the Spirit of Uganda arrives in town. Young performers from East Africa incorporate rhythmic dance moves, synchronized drumming, ear-pleasing vocals, and dramatic visuals to promote awareness of and raise funds for orphaned and vulnerable children in their home country.
