Safety First

Christ Lutheran Church (6595 Covington Wy., Goleta) will hold a Community Disaster Preparedness Fair on Saturday, May 15, for Central Coast residents. Organizations like the S.B. chapter of the American Red Cross, the S.B. City and County Fire Departments, the City of Goleta, and the California Highway Patrol will host booths, workshops, and lectures to educate and prepare community members about what actions to take in the event of a natural disaster. The Fair runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; admission is free. Call 964-2267.
