The Lights Are Much Brighter at the 2010 Downtown Art & Wine Tour
Art, as it’s so easy to know here in Santa Barbara, can mean many things, from what’s on the wall to what’s on your plate to what’s in your glass. The Santa Barbara Downtown Organization celebrates that fact with an art, food, and wine extravaganza: the 2010 Downtown Art & Wine Tour on Thursday, May 27, 5:30-9:30 p.m. You get a logo wine glass, you take your own tour of popular cultural venues, and you feast and drink at each stop. And they do mean true fine venues, food, and drink; just scratching the surface of the list gets you to Gallery 113, Indigo Interiors, SOhO Restaurant & Music Club, S.B. Frame Shop & Gallery, Bella Dolce, bouchon, Los Arroyos, Wine Cask, Brander Vineyard, The Winehound, and Whitcraft Winery. After the tours, there’s a final party at the County Courthouse Sunken Gardens with more food, live music, and auction items. Proceeds, as usual, benefit the Annual Downtown Holiday Parade. Tickets are $55 for the tour and final party or $35 for the final party only. Buy tickets at the Arlington Theatre Box Office or the Downtown Organization office, 27B East De la Guerra Street.
