Let Cameras Catch Taggers

As a resident of the lower Milpas Street neighborhood, I like so many of my neighbors have anxiously followed the completion of the new Milpas Street overpass. On Tuesday I was appalled to see that the new overpass area on Cacique Street was covered in graffiti. Why is it that certain individuals in our society chose to destroy and downgrade their community and do their best to make it look like a ghetto?

I am calling upon the city to move to stop this once and for all and allocate whatever resources are available to catch these individuals and prosecute them to the limit of the law. Since police cannot be everywhere at once, I also suggest that cameras similar to those being used in traffic intersections be mounted near known tagging areas.
