Lickety Split’s
Frozen Treats Down Your Street
Where: Check @licketytruck on Twitter or see licketysplitstruck.com
What: Santa Barbara’s first mobile froze-yogurt truck
How Much: “Yo-Witch” $5
The dish: Modern nostalgia — an oxymoron you might say? Not for Lickety Split’s. It may not be glass-bottled milk delivered right to your doorstep, but a sweet serving of frozen yogurt is a daily dose of dairy on wheels. Locally owned by Matthew McBride and Alex Gubelmann, fro-yo on wheels also serves up iced coffees on hot days as a refreshing pick me up. Choose from tart, vanilla, or chocolate frozen yogurt, or the acclaimed “Yo-Witch,” a $5 yogurt and cookie sandwich. Iced coffee lattes come in vanilla, hazelnut, or mocha & caramel flavors. Follow the fro-yo mobile on Twitter throughout Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Goleta, and Isla Vista.
