For 13 years, the Pearl Chase Society has offered Santa Barbarans a peek into the past — and their neighbors’ dwellings — with its Historic Homes Tour. This year’s tour focuses on bungalows, featuring domiciles built between 1888 and 1923. There are eight homes on the route, including such styles as Spanish, Craftsman, Japanese pagoda, Queen Anne, and English farmhouse. “The range in variety of architectural styles will distinguish this tour as a rare opportunity to see homes of outstanding Arts and Crafts design,” said Sue Adams, president of the society. The tour takes place Sunday, May 20, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. For tickets, call (805) 961-3938 or visit pearlchasesociety.org.
