Harmony
Did you hear that Harmony was sold?
Who would believe you could buy Harmony
If I had known
I would have begged, borrowed and stolen
To purchase that pearl of great price
Imagine, a bucolic hamlet
Surrounded by rolling emerald hills
Conciliating Pacific breezes
No discord, hostility or strife allowed
If Harmony were mine
I’d invite the Taliban
Isis, Boko Haram
Hammas, Zionists
Even the Tea Party
Just to give them a break
From their obsession
With sowing seeds of fear and hatred
Maybe they’d harvest tranquility in Harmony
And take some plantings of peace back home
